On this day we made tracks to Lincoln Park Zoo, where Brandan took charge of the map and guided us on our way. My little explorer...
He led us up to the monkeys, apes and oragutans where we found a few friends to play around with for a while.
But nothing could have beat the friendly polar bears we visited with in their beautiful blue water habitat. I LOVE the way they all posed just perfect for this COOL picture!
It ended up being a perfectly warm, sunny day to enjoy a stroll through the park. Dean and Claudia met up with some furry friends along the way.
By afternoon we headed over for a lunch of tamales, tacos, and enchiladas at Uncle Julio's. We headed back south through Greektown, and over to Little Italy for some Italian ice for dessert. Through the streets of Chinatown, and over past the Little Village neighborhood we finally found our way back home. We took in KUNG FU PANDA at the Hollywood Blvd theater this evening, too. Boy we are wasted!!

Wow Candi, no wonder you are pooped! What exciting fun-filled days! That picture with the polar bear is just amazing!!! A must frame, show it off to everyone! Wow! I love reading about your adventures!
