Party on Tuesday?

Tough night to call a crowd out, but quiet a few fans showed up. Last night we headed over to Northerly Island to catch Marc Anthony and Alejandro Fernandez in concert on the Charter One stage. This venue really highlights our beautiful city, and get the crowd up close to the action. We arrived early to take in the views. We lucked out with pretty good seats; about 20 rows from the stage. The guys treated Ceci and I to cool drinks to get the night started.

Salsero, Marc Anthony hit the stage just after 7:45pm. He brought along the bongos, trumpets, and his gorgeous voice. The shades eventually came of as he sang to us of "Hasta que te Conoce" and others like Hector LaVoe's "Mi Gente".
With boleros and rancheras, Alejandro Fernandez followed in first with a three piece suit, harkening back a few years...
...followed by his traditional, father's footsteps roll with full marachi band in tail. If you were there, and had a great love for the music, it was hard not to dance in the aisles. We did! There was just enough room to wiggle, and we had a blast.
By night's end these two famous Latin stars closed their performance together, singing "Volver".
Cool concert...just wish there were more interestingTuesdays like this.
