This year, my sadness over making the decision to not GO ALL OUT with Christmas decorations because of our pending tropical excursion the day AFTER the BIG holiday of gift giving, was growing by the day. I knew Grandma would have the "stuff" out in full force and we could spend Christmas Eve there (leaving word for Santa that he would need to alter his course) for THAT night. BUT, each day more and more homes were lighting their windows and decorating their snow-filled yards. Jealousy, was invading my blood stream, how awful to say. So, without pulling out the eight to ten storage boxes hidden away in the attic alongside the Carolina fir Christmas tree, I HAD to AT LEAST decorate the front window with some festive cheer. These cute little snowflakes and cheery colored cone trees called my name in the holiday section of the store (and will make a great addition to the "stuff" next year!) and in the window they went. As the snow softly fell outside this evening, I decided to snap a picture share my joyous little piece of Christmas decor. I was amazed beyond belief when I realized just how well I captured the SNOW!!!
okay so my snow flakes are blinkers and I didn't catch them all on...
...but it is just enough to help me smile.
DID I mention that NONE of this will keep me from going ALL OUT in my classroom this year! I am going to have lights strung everywhere!

Love the snow in the picture and your window looks adorable! You will have to take pictures of your classroom too!
