Spring Break regression

Last Friday, Chato took the day to spend with the kids, while they were off on Spring Break. Bright and early, they headed off to Marquette Park to play nine on the green. After lunch, they hit an old family haunt, good old Haunted Trails. This amusement joint is older than I, and Frankenstein has been in stance there for as long as I can remember. They enjoyed a beautiful weather day, very unlike our snow covered trip to the Field museum during my break trip.

Brandan is a sucker for the video and arcade games. He can collect tickets like nobody's business, and refuses to spend them until he finds just the right prize.
Aly takes a try at making a shot and adds to her own ticket collection...
The weather was too enticing outside to stay indoors for long. Out to the twirly rides...
..and a spin on the driving track was just right. If you zoom in enough, you might just catch the temperature on the sign below. Chicago hasn't seen a day so warm in quite a while! Now, if it would only stay consistent from here on out!
And as if the golfing in the AM hours wasn't enough, they took a swing through the mini golf course, too!
One well spent day, and I am SO HAPPY Daddy remembered to pull out the camera and snap away! (Well, at least he captured the second half of the day!) I love you, honey!
