...bright and early Saturday morning. The kids know the routine and countdown to the moment we pull out for the trip. There is nothing better that the highway that heads south, away from the hustle of the city.
Early morning sunshine stretches across faces and shakes them to wake up...
...while others pass their time with the nose stuck behind a video game. (I cannot express how much i detest this -- my Mom used to make me tally licence plates from across the country when I claimed boredom.)
Once we cross the state lines, we know our adventures are ready to begin...
Next stop: family reunion.
