require plenty of time in the sun! So, we headed out today to play in the sunshine and drink in the heat (humidity was a freebie) downtown at Navy Pier. I don't think we encountered a cloud in the sky. 
Rides on the Ferris Wheel and the swings (can you spot my favorite people?) were perfect ways to cool off with a good breeze.

But it was the water fountains that gave us the most smiles and cheers!
...and when we were wet from head to toe...
...and it was time to let the sun soak up the wetness...
...leaving a few of us a bit too wore out...
...we joined the pretzel gang, and found some shade near water's edge.
Six adults, eight children and one great summer day: SPENT.

Aw!!! I love it! I had a great time, though the next outing must be at an enclosed area, or the hub has to come! I love how the kids all get along, it's so sweet! We'll have to thank Heather for getting our butts together! (note to self... next time just carry the damn camera!)

Wow, is all I have to say about those pictures! I would never go on those swings....they are awfully brave! That ferris wheel even looks scary, it's so huge!!!
