On Sunday afternoon we hit "Flying High" gymnasium to help Taylor celebrate her 8th birthday.
The kids loved the opportunity to mimic the moves they had been watching on the olympics as both the USA teams men and women competition
was well underway. Brandan tried his best to manipulate the uneven bars. He complained for hours afterwards about how sore his tummy muscles were. But I do believe that he got the right idea (FINALLY) that it's not as easy as the atheletes make it look on TV.
Aly is the queen of hula hooping. Ever since she started playing with the Wii though, she has been experimenting with adding more and more hoops as she goes. I think she had at least four hoops on her hips this time around. If she keeps this kind of practice up - we might just have our own world recorder breaker in the family!
It was a great afternoon, and we wish Taylor a very HAPPY 8th birthday!
