homework H-E-double hockey sticks

this type of rigor is something I don't quite seem to remember. Ah, the rote process of the mundane tasks of life. I must have silently blocked it from my childhood mind, but I don't remember the hours on end (especially times 2) of math, reading, social studies, science, language, health, writing, blah, blah, blah...
I could have imagined it, but somewhere in my teacher's manual it says a good thirty to forty-five minutes of solid practice and review is defined as homework. Okay. That sounds reasonable. I could handle that. Hmph. Too bad that is an imaginary time frame in this house. Well, at least we can keep smiles on our faces while we chug through...
This serious monster handles most efforts on her own watch. But once she figures out that the camera is pointed in her direction she...
...heads off in the direction of hiding from me. Is this like the terrible twos or something? All (almost) eight year olds must throw up their hands at the sight of a picture taking session?

You've got something coming Miss Alyce...

I love how Brandon smiled so big for the camera and Aly hid! Cute kids and so dedicated!

Great shots...tell Aly she is WAY to beautiful to hide from the camera! And 2 hours...a day? Yuck! They are troopers for sure!
