No, I'm not going to continue talking about the cold Spring we are having in Chicago. Yes, I am going to take you back to a warmer time - Remember last June when we hit Lincoln Park Zoo - Claudia just had to see the zoo while in Chicago. I caught this super cool shot of the beautiful Polar Bear "Lee", a nine year old, 900 pound friend, who was willing to smile for us.
Well, sadly we won't get to go see him this summer. He is moving up in the world and off to find a girlfriend. Yesterday morning, Lee was sent off to Detroit to "hook up" with Talini and Barle. Read the story here: SunTimesGood Luck, buddy!

polar bear girl friends are good ... means baby polar bears. but it is sad that he's leaving, they are my favorite animal.... but hey come down here we have 2-or 4 at the zoo and i know of at least 2 more guys over at sea world ... they live in a perpetiual summer down here. :)

That is an awesome picture!!! I remember the layout with that picture!Poor guy for having to travel, but at least he won't be lonely now? :)
