Top 5 reasons why I am an artistic historian and NOT a Scientist:

#5. I can take pictures of a science project in action to record the authenticity of it, but can't explain why my child has dirt in styrofoam cups.#4. I can use my Cricut to cut title letters for project boards, but I can't determine what composition and density have to do with the specific gravity of rock.
#3. Christopher Columbus headed into the western seas in search of spices. You should not open someone's oven in search of baking mud balls for an experiment.
#2. Reading a book is less dangerous than using sharp instruments to conduct an experiment.
#1. I'd really rather find out what color I can scratch out on a piece of textured cardstock from a rock than figure out how much water is displaced from it's weight.
Just not scientific to save my soul. Genetics? Genealogy? Maybe, but if these guys wish to pursue this field of study, I'll be at a loss for words.
