Well, it wasn't an understatement when I left off last post with "Uh-oh!" Brandan pulled out the paint brushes for a new sign that read CAR WASH $2.00, at the crack of dawn on Saturday morning. It wasn't long before some cloudy skies and brief showers did him in. Along came Sunday afternoon and an offer was made. Brandan and Aly hired two of their favorite block friends and got to work scrubbing and polishing a neighbor's SUV.
Today, a day later...rains and wind put a hold on the set-up, but low and behold, as soon as the sun broke out so did Aly and Brandan. Once again, within the first five minutes of being "open for business" they sold four cups of pink lemonade and made a tip! August better pay for some new school supplies and uniforms!! ;)
