We hit the train and headed downtown. Next stop: Millennium Park ice rink (a heck alot cheaper than the new Wrigley version with admission + skate rental fees!) Caitlin, Jessica, Justin, and Allison joined Chato, the kids and I for the trip. Caitlin and I got to take credit for all the planning, though!! ;)

I was especially proud of Aly. Last time we hit the rink two years ago - she had a rough time getting her feet straight and only made it around once or twice, but TODAY she stepped out with out a doubt and spun herself silly around the rink a gazillion times!
Whether it was with Jessica or on her own - she didn't complain at all!

Last stop: the Snow Bean - funny; I never saw it covered with snow before! It was a bit frosty, but we took in all the sights and called it a day...
Six days of break left....Next stop: lazytown.

What fun!!!! Makes me want to go try skating at this cheesy ice skating rink they set up here!! I love your pics and WAY TO GO Aly! All the cute winter gear makes me wish it got colder here for at least a little bit! No go scrap some of these!
Looks FUN! And you guys don't even look cold!!!! I may have to wait a few years to attempt that kind of trip, though. Love the group shots, and B kissing A <3 <3 LOVE it!
