Holiday Hoop-la report #2

To get our holiday going in just the right direction, God gave us about three inches of snow on Tuesday. Up and out the door, the kids were eager to "work" in all of the white splendor. It was the heavy version, great for packing, but not so easy to shovel......it wasn't too long before all of that HARD work tuckered a little girl out.

On Wednesday, we spent the day with friends. We shared good food, big laughs, and wonderful times with them. I think that the faces we see on these little ones during this time of the year are the most beautiful - such shining innocence sharing their hearts with one another.

In the evening, we headed out to celebrate Chico's birthday in style...

...the kids helped to gulp down giant onion rings...
...huge hamburgers...
...and birthday cake for the birthday boy!
Happy Birthday, Chico! We love ya, Buddy!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So this evening, our stockings are hung by the chimney with care, and Brandan and Aly are tracking Santa every five minutes hoping he will soon be here. (Seriously, go to NORADSanta.com - his location updates every few minutes or so!) An early Christmas present from Mama and Papa - Aly and Brandan have been requesting pets...so they each got ONE! The perfect kind, too! hee hee....

So, with sugar plums getting ready to dance...
We send wishes for a very Merry Christmas to you and yours. May it be bright. May it be beautiful. May you take it all into your heart.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
