growing up...there were never too many kids on my block. One big fat bully who had every gadget and new toy wasn't much of a crew. Today, Aly and Brandan enjoy a block full of kids, and there is never a shortage of playmates and team members. They could probably start their own game of baseball with enough players for each side. Only it would look just like the Major leagues...an all male dugout. Unfortunately, to Aly's dismay - the gang of kids on our block is primarily designed with a boy perspective. She's the gopher for their games. She's the side-kick in their wars. She's the little sister, who will push another down for the sake of her brother's ego. In the end, she's the girl who will grow into one heck of a tomboy...don't paint her nails and call her pretty. She has learned to hold her own...whether she likes it or not!
