more of a lack luster day than all of the rest...
more of a lack luster day than all of the rest...
I headed off to school with cloudy skies and rain looming. My students and I ran our Friday routine pretty well. We survived spelling and reading tests, a fluency competition (where they get to vote for the week's best reader), and a bit of Chicago history.
Meanwhile back at home, the kids left a bag of potato chips on the front steps. Needless to say, they had some help picking them up.
On my lucky days, my beautiful friend Rosa drops me off at the orange line, in the core of the city. I love walking along the streets and skyscrapers, but often wish to take the time to stop in here...it is the oldest camera shoppe in the downtown area.
But, there is always a need to hurry home, so I run up the steps to catch the train before some dark clouds open up the sky...
...he returned home with a picture of himself in a hallway?!?
Back at home, Monkey boy grabs my iPhone and promptly sits himself on top of the kitchen counter, while Debbi and Chato do their weekly Friday transactions.

We settled for pizza for dinner, and while the rain poured down outside. The bored child syndrome didn't last long, as Brandan took advantage of an unused tripod to make himself a teepee of sorts.
Today, we have lots on our agenda. I can only imagine what kids of fascinating things we can get ourselves into...
BUT, I am starting to see some things in this process:
My BOY child wears WAY more clothing in a week than my GIRL child.
I take most of my pictures with a vertical slant, while all the other members of my family take horizontal pictures.
Uploading pictures from one camera takes five minutes.
Uploading pictures from three cameras takes a whole lot longer.
Chato and I have very similar work ethic. "Get me home to my family" is our theme lately.
The kids' school day is still a bit blurry for me...I need to strap video cameras to them!
I purchased the WITL templates. My wheels are turning about how to get them put together...
