traveling south

Up at the literal crack of dawn, as the sun was trying to make a dent into the night sky, we headed south at 4:45am.It wasn't until we got to Merrillville, Indiana - that that glorious orb finally made it's appearance.
Indiana is going green. We encountered fields and fields of wind turbines...

Once we hit that KY line the kids finally settled down - but they didn't rest for long...
As soon as we pulled in there was "kinfolk" all over the place.
We chatted it up with family...
...while the Grandapas sat pool side...
...the kids swam it up...
...and the "big kids" snuck down to the Sonic to get some ice cream.
It was not long before they figured out our hiding spot and came running down to join in...
This morning, I was surprised to find my Momma with a new twin sister hairdo!
But that was yesterday.

Today, we were on the farm. We were in the heavens, exploring from here to there, every inch of the green pastures and wide open fields. I've got about 400+ photographs to sort through, gawk at, and relive from an outstanding, blessed day. I can't wait to share them with you!
