So, if you didn't realize how thankful I am for summer break, you soon will understand WHY. The day trips with the kids, the late wake ups, the freedom to pick and choose as we like is all a part of why summers help this family to reload, relax and unwind. With that in mind, I finally sat back down at my scrap table for the first time in months. With a pile of pictures just waiting to find a home, I was able to take some colors and glue and piece them all together. Here are my most recent efforts:I also got the chance to take pictures of my Mexico notebook:
Sorry for the glare...I was still working in P&S mode when I snapped these. I love the idea of having this book all together! Every single receipt and ticket, and document that we picked up along the way is included. I stitched them all inside so that they could be flipped, turned, and handled with out bringing damage to anything over the years.

I also got my hands on a new "camera" in Mexico...

You have lots of great layouts here. Favorite I think is the life in a box. Sounds like you're having a great summer.
Lovvvvvvvve that camera!!!
Super cute layouts (LOVE the corrugated alphas and clouds!) and the fun camera...but my favorite is the Mexico journal!!! Shaun and I are going to New Orleans in a couple weekends and I just might have to steal your idea...love love love it!! Where did you find that journal with the kraft pages?
