Around here, you take advice when it is given to you.
When you get a little too much sun on your checks and your Aunt tells you to mix Maizena (corn starch) and Pomada de la Campana (medicinal cream) together and rub it on...YOU DO SO!
Believe me, it works! Aly woke up the morning without any signs of lobster cheeks!-----------------------
Most every night that we have stayed in Ocampo, the kids pull out La Loteria to play with whoever is up for it...
...and snack on jugo de mango and Oreos Neopolitans! Yes, chocolate cookie on one side, STRAWBERRY cream on the inside, and a vanilla cookie on the other side!! YUM!!!
Brandan is most thankful for each spoonful of arroz con leche that he can get his hands on, though. Although, none can come close to Ma's version. :(

Cool, will have to try the sunburn remedy! So is arroz con leche like rice pudding? It sounds tasty whatever it is:)
