ok. yeah, we know. It's the Mother Road. But for Saturday, August 28th, we aptly renamed it Momma's Road. Taking my mom down Route 66 for her birthday was a wonderful way to wrap up the summer and celebrate Momma turning 66. We took a TON of pictures throughout our NINE HOUR trip to St. Louis (Yes, we realize it should take half of that from Chicago), but it is going to take me a while to sort them all. With heading back to school full time (for teachers) this week...time will be rationed. Little by little, I hope to get through them and tell you all about the weekend's excursion. Be patient...I'll be back!
