let there be light

Are you here looking for house construction updates? Well, let me shed some light on that topic for you......the electricity is coming along nicely. Most of the house (the new part) has been wired.

Mom is super happy to have a brand new 36" door leading out to the driveway. For those of you in imagination mode - this is the same doorway from the old family room, but now it will lead in to the kitchen/sunroom area. The space between the doorway is the dividing line between the two rooms.

If I remember, next trip over to their house (and if Mom lets me) I must take a snap of how they are living! They have three rooms of furniture in the living room and a sweet little aisle for walking through. I'm pretty convinced that if some one were to be claustrophobic - this would NOT be the place to visit right about NOW. The new area is going to give them more space than they know what to do with, but it makes them happy, and that is all that matters.
