SO far behind, I know. It has been more than a week since I have been able to play with pictures and tell the stories of them all. Way back when...last Saturday, we came together to celebrate my comadre, Patty. We surprised her with a dinner and some "hang-out" time.
Happy Birthday, my beautiful friend.

And you always know how fast time flies, when our (broccoli-eating) babies are stretching out and showing such character! Ay, Abigail...I'm in love with those gorgeous brown eyes!!

Sunday morning, we awoke to a beautiful blizzard's worth of snow. Brandan lived in it all day long. Aly kept a blanket nearby and kept her nose indoors and underneath the covers.

...and for most of the week...
this is how it played out. We went to work/school. Worked on our homework assignments. Went to Brandan's third basketball game. Spent an evening making some scrap worthy Christmas presents for teachers. Wrote out a whole bunch of Christmas cards (they are in the mail today!) and aligned our big week long cookie ingredient list for the grocery store.

That brings us to present day.
HOME for the HOLIDAYS.
Thank goodness.
No alarm.
Zzzzz.
