heart of a nut

Lately, I've had my head wrapped around so many different ideas, it is hard to keep them all straight. I've fell in love with Pinterest. THANK YOU, PAM!! Haven't heard of it? Oh, I so think it is the crafter/designer/art lover's dream come true on the internet. You can find all kinds of love and inspiration over there and "pin" it so you will never loose it. I'm in love.

Unfortunately, it can't come into my brain and organize it.
I've been thinking of all kinds of sewing projects, scrapbook LOs, and home decor things -- that I MUST do. At what point? yeah. exactly. my. point.

So, when you go looking to UNDERSTAND it all, you typically find it right in your own possession...
A few weeks back, I came across this cute little heart hidden inside my walnut. It explains why I am such a mess with wanting to do everything all at once. I see inspiration in everything! "Hey, look! There is a heart shape inside this nut!" - and I realized I AM a NUT.

Brandan was flipping through one of Chato's business-y magazines the other day and found this:
Another inspirational idea! I now UNDERSTAND my facebook attachment just a bit more. And it knocks my socks off that there are so many users worldwide. The only issue I have with this "fact" sheet is I don't see an age factor here. What is the most common age group on here? It says that "65% of teens admit to being friends with their parents" - but seriously - WHO in their right mind would allow their child to be on facebook WITHOUT being their friend?? Currently, B + A do not have accounts; and I do not look forward to the day that I have to monitor that. There are so many aspects of bullying and persuading going on in the "regular" world - I can't and don't wish to image what realm this would run into in the FB world.

So, inspirational idea? Ask blog readers: "What do you think about pre-teen/teen kids being on facebook?"

Here's a bit of twisted inspiration:
My friend Nichole, along with some other very loved iPhone friends (you know who you are!) got me to use the Instagram app. Be still my vintage heart, but I can age and antique any picture I want to...
...and that includes sweet Saturday nights at home watching movies with my man, and indulging on enormous sweet treats with my BFF...
Nichole led me to this app too...
Small Planet is a funky take on a GPS and photos - that twirls it all up into a piece of artwork. This is a satellite image of our block in the Spring. Our little piece of the world - or is it the whole world to us? Hmmm....inspiration all over the place.

So, this self admitted nut may tell you things you already knew, but know this: I will proudly wear a t-shirt that says "I may live in my own world, but it's peaceful and I am happy here."
