of all the ways...

...to have passed the day, I was pretty happy with how I spent my birthday on Tuesday:
*on a CTA bus with 31 students
*strolling along Michigan Avenue
*walking through Millennium Park
*taking in the art at the Institute's new wing
Anne (who will kill me later for posting her picture) and I can't brag enough about how well the kids did on this trip. It was beautiful watching the kids explore the city.
We spent time pointing and chattering in around the BEAN and MILLENNIUM PARK. And I adore the conversations I got to hear the kids saying to one another about the size of the buildings, the people passing by, and the history facts they have been learning about our beautiful city. It was such a nice day.

Yesterday, Brandan and Chato worked on the finishing touches of a BIG math project.
Mom and I worked on sorting ribbon (a touch of De-Clutter-ing?)
..and i love how it turned out!
I'm looking forward to the week ahead, even though it looks pretty typical...for some reason I'm craving the sun and warm weather again. I'm praying for some "picture perfect" weather!!
