Monday: Make & Take

Yup.
I'm behind already and I'm not even a week into summer break. Where did Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and the weekend GO? I'll get it back together this week. I promise!
----------------------
I lifted this layout from the May/June Creating Keepsakes by Kathie Link. I thought it would be perfect to highlight my Papa's old RED truck.
I'm thinking that this "make and take" idea will surely get me going and back on track with the TON of pictures I have on my table! So, who is with me here? I am calling out all of my scrapbook friends for a scraplift party. I found this CUTE flower idea inside the pages of an old CTMH idea book:
I am obviously not done with page yet, but isn't that flower sweet? All it is made up of is six circle punched pieces of double sided patterned paper folded into thirds to form a precise little funneled point at one end. Who is up for it? Take this idea and make one! Show me what you come up with! I would love to transfer this idea to quilting -- anyone know of any CUTE double sided fabric?? :)
-------------------------
I'm off to edit pictures and print them. I'll be back tomorrow to check off that TO DO LIST.
I feel quite accomplished, but more about THAT tomorrow.

I love the flowers! I saw some like that in a recent sb etc. and wanted to try them.

I heart your page! The colors and tag are perfect with the picture! I am with you sometime...as soon as I get done with some deadliness. I have a page by Susan Weinroth that I have been wanting to lift for a very long time now!
