I promised Chato I would stick to a budget with all of my summer projects. With a $50 allowance, all of the projects that I take on this summer must fit within my budget. Last week, with all of the projects in Aly's room, I met that goal. I did go back and pick up four more needed knobs for her dresser on Saturday. I won't mention that I purchased a rod for her new curtains that cost $15 and her fabric & pattern for the sundress was another $15- because those projects are not finished yet! I can count that in next week's allotment, right? :)
This is going to be hard.
Another total I want to chart is mileage. With the investment of my new bike, Chato is supporting (more like encouraging me) each evening to get online and trek around the airport. The starting perimeter is approximately one mile on each of the four square sides surrounding Midway. We live about 1/2 mile from the airport. So, Monday and Wednesday evening's beautiful weather clocked me in at 4.5 miles each night and I can total 9 miles complete! Yay me! Not too bad for a beginner who hasn't ridden a bike for quite a few years! Yay me!
The evening sun and the shade of the airport walls is wonderful. I'll be doing it TWICE around before you know it --- but give me a week or two - Okay? :)

Cool shadowy pic! I think you can easily handle a $50 a week budget! You go, girl!
I think you could totally stick to that budget too. Maybe you will even have some left over one week for scrappy goods;)
Can't wait to see the sundress!
