So, I am a day late...and I'll make this short. I promised myself I was going to get back to making lists. There's no better way to keep myself accountable this summer! With only nine weeks before a new school year begins again, and tomorrow being the first day of "official" summer for a CPS teacher -- there is no time to spare (especially because new year planning always eats into some of that time...) if I want to cross things off!
I plan on attainable week by week goals. This is best filled with DIY projects and cute techniques that Aly and I wish to try with sewing, cooking, and crafting while B is in summer school in the mornings. To do lists for techniques, I suppose.
WEEK #1 (June 22-28)
Pick out sundress pattern for Aly to sew.
Take Zumba class with Ceci.
Add 2nd coat of paint to side door & Aly's chair.
Overhaul Aly's bedroom (clean slate!!)
Attempt 3 bike rides.
DIY raspberry ice cubes from Pinterest.
Find three good recipes for dinner and add to grocery list.
Hmmm....
A little much? Maybe.
Here's to it!
