I did not get much accomplished in my scrap room this week. I did get lots of chores done, though. I guess one can never have a good share of BOTH. I did get lots of pictures edited and sent off to be printed. One of my favorite things about pictures is coming across the ones that offer TONS of white space to one side or the other...
...this is a favorite.
TAKE the time to try this! When snapping pictures, make the focal point off to one side or the other. It MAKES the picture take on such an interesting perspective and adds to the story!

So, I wanted to report back on some of the "finds" from the flea yesterday...
Can you believe this chick?
She is so funny.
The last time we were at the flea market in Alsip, Aly had five dollars in her pocket and made sure to buy a ton of unique little items. She did the same thing yesterday. A headband here, a zippered change purse there, and some WHOPPING earrings to boot - were a few of her acquisitions!
The boys, on the other hand, were JUST as funny. Chato found a white belt he wanted for golfing. I half-heartedly found a seriously amusing belt buckle that I suggested...dang if he took me for REAL...
He and B both picked up the gaudiest looking buckles ever. Now, let me tell you that Chato's offers a bottle opener on it! Can you imagine?! Oh, to have a crazy conversation piece! He showed it off everywhere he went yesterday!

Haaa ha, the belt buckles are too funny! And I love the earrings in Miss A! You need to go check out the new Random collection on the crate paper blog, it would be perfect to scrap that picture:)
I adore that layout too, I am going to have to hunt down some of those word strips. And I love taking pictures like that too:)
I love Aly's earrings. I would totally wear those too!
