I've got some totals for you.
Five to ten barbeque ribs per kid.
Five to ten barbeque ribs per kid.
Over the weekend, we pigged out while in Lansing. These crazy cousins ate themselves silly. Can't you see the BBQ sauce all over those faces?
Brandan has joined a summer basketball street team. The boys in the neighborhood expressed their desire to play at the park district and they took time to choose their own teams. Last night, they went into double overtime, but eventually losing 21-22. The halves are only 11 minutes with 2 minute overtimes. The perfect summer outlet.
Now, the way Thursday totals started was a $$ topic.
Hmmm...Two weeks ago we invested $35 in my cousin Ronald's old bicycle. He must have rarely used it before his passing; it is in mint condition and perfect for Chato to trek with me around the airport! That same week my cousin Tim wonderfully donated his girls' old hoop to Brandan. Once we got it over here we had to rig it so that it would fit in the alley, next to the garage without impeding on the limited space back there (Gotta love the city experiences!) so we acquired Chuck's help for $15 to jigsaw the gate in such a way that the net would fit snuggly between the the fence and garage. There went my $$ for that week - but good use I suppose!
This past week, I accounted for the flea market finds. I lent B + A $10 each. On Monday evening, we went to Sports Authority where I came across great clearance on dry-fit shirts for bike riding! That counts as "improvement" right? So, $30 there. $$ gone for another week. I'm thinking that by the time I upload my WITL pages for printing - next week's $$ will disappear too. Oh, the life of re-purposing - it's still a pretty penny.
