My scraggly headed, almost teenage son had a milestone today.
We took his cute smile and encrusted it...
...with some metal bling to straighten out a wild tooth.
He was such a trooper in this. In fact, when I told him that he could have a trip to Europe with the cost of what was going into his mouth, he said "But Mom! This is way cooler! Europe only lasts a week. This is a good two years!!"

I love that he got to pick out a tee.
(Yes, I know I paid for it in the long run.)
We are kind of hoping there are some diamonds hid inside of all this bling...

how in the heck did i miss this? what a big step for you guys!!! he looks so much older with them!
how is he dealing with them now that he has been wearing them a couple weeks?
