Claudia and Dean's last full day here with us in Chicago took us to Navy Pier. Unfortunately, this was the first day that our skies filled with clouds, it was overcast, and sprinkled light rain at some points during the day. Our plan was to take a sunny, hot boat trip on the SeaDog, but the skies had other plans. Brandan scoped the lakefront...
Claudia and Dean posed pretty on the pier...
We took a few anchor shots, too...
Our trip was delayed by an hour, but once we boarded the kids were all smiles...
..and so were the big kids, happy to go!!
It turned out to be a great trip down the river, and we had an amazingly smart tour guide who matched my smarts on Chicago facts! hee hee! But as fate would have it, just as the tour ended the sun broke through the clouds and the heat began to rise. It turned out to be another great day for tripping around Chicago, but we are so sad that it was our last to enjoy together here in the Windy City! :(

That photo on the anchor is so freakin' wonderful! LOVE IT! Great pictures once again. Your cousin and her hubby look so cute in that last picture. They look so happy.
