We attended a nearby block party where the kids had a blast enjoying the warm weather, a group of friends (new and old), and some fun rides. This little train is a staple, each year, at the block party. And what a good idea! Pretty cute to carve out some old drums, paint them bright colors and string them along for endsless rides around the block!
With the side street closed down completely, the little train could come and go, weave and bob all over the place, and the kids adored it!
Next up was the jump dome. If it weren't for that goofy screen, I think these would have been some pretty cool action shots! I love the speed on my lens! Brandan jumped himself silly for over a half an hour before he got hungry enough to realize he needed to stop.
Aly enjoyed the jump dome just a bit more, making consecutive return trips, bringing all new meaning to the term "jumped herself silly".
All of this fun was topped off by our little buddy Cristian's eighth bday celebration. He is such a cool spirit - enjoying the time, singing "happy birthday" to himself and loving the fact that his dad shoved his face into his soccer field cake!

How fun!!! Thank you for getting your new lens, lol. I was looking at them last week, and now that you got a new one I can say to Shaun...well, Candi got a new one, lol. I love the first train pic with Aly waving but you can see Brandan in the background!
