Now, I swear I didn't plan it out, like a kooky scrapbooking freak, but can you see that the kids actually color coordinate with their bikes. Brandan's fashion choices typically result in putting colors that don't go together with one another on a daily basis. In the summer I let him be, and then I am thankful for school uniforms in the fall! Aly is pretty good with getting her clothes to match, but on this day she didn't realize that she blended right in with her bike, too!

Weekend travels, PART TWO
We headed out to the bike trails on Sunday, because Aly had been begging to go since her training wheels were removed. It was a bright, perfect day for it and the kids were ready for it all. Aly was ambitious to say the least - she just knew she could keep up with Brandan. And even though he might have got a push start on her, it didn't take her long to go right by him.

Brandan is moving up in the bike world, and starting to do tricks. Lord help me! While Aly is getting her wits about her, she is starting to find a bit of comfort in the open road.
We continued on to the park shortly there after and enjoyed the swings and slides, but it is amazing to see just how much these guys have grown and outgrown some of their favorite rides here of the years. I'm gonna have to go back and pull out some old pictures to compare! Another day well spent. Another summer day gone by way to fast. Time sure does fly when you are having this much fun, but it is so hard to look back on! I'm glad we have the opportunity to record it all through photography!
