scrap happy vacation time

Remember when I hit the jackpot in late February here? I cracked open my beautiful winnings and rolled out three new layouts with it. This first one is one of my newest favorites. There is just something about Scenic Route that is so easy to work with (even if my nails got a good filing when I covered the chipboard in patterned paper!) I've scrapped this picture before, but this one is mine to keep...
I have a bunch of pictures that I skipped over last summer for our family album, because I used most of them for Claudia's trip album. Now, that most of them are completely out of my mind, I have decided to go back and put ours together.

Just for fun, I pulled out some paint and a beautiful (new to me) Fancy Pants transperancy. I figured these pictures of a certain mischievous little girl needed some brighter textures to make them POP. See, Aly? One way or the other you will be in pictures...it's up to you what you want to see five, ten, twenty years from now!

And for my other piece of me, there's a tale to tell his tail a thing or too for later in life...

These last two were made up of the very last pieces of my March Kraft Girl Kit. Seriously, the remains of the kit can fit inside the small ziplock baggie that held only the embellies upon arrival! That makes six LOs and a card, I think?!

Still have a mound of pictures that are calling for attention. I search for the energy to attack them right after I take a popcorn break...
