Bright and early this morning, this boy concocted a plan to get out of helping clean up the house. It started with him helping himself to the TANG, a pitcher, cups, and a table along with the other necessities. Aly took on the signage and they set up their first major entrepreneurial effort! With in FIVE minutes they had their first sale from a passer-by. An hour later they built the courage to start shouting out to cars (we live on a quiet, non-busy city street) to draw in some more business. Cute, albeit, I wasn't sure that they would be happy with their profits. Just after lunch, a lady pulled over with her gang of kids in tow and ordered up a glass for each and everyone. Not only did she give the kids $2 (a cup was priced at .10 cents!), but she pulled out her camera and snapped a pic of them all together!! (She must be a scrapbooking/blogging nut like me!!) Brandan ran inside to tell me and he called her "kate and her eight"!
A successful day, for them no doubt! Brandan just came in for a snack...and said, "i think tomorrow we will have a car wash!" uh-oh.
