With just a bit of effort, I am doing better. I CAN keep up with what I love most; photography and scrapbooking are what I want to be remembered for long after I am gone. No one wants to be forgotten - and anyone who denies this is seriously crazy - okay, that was my opinion...but MAN wishes to leave a mark somewhere - I would love for this to be mine. I cherish my Grandfather's vintage pictures, but only wish I could tell all of the stories behind them. I do not wish that to be the story for my children or possible descendants. I figure, if I take the time today, our stories will remain when no one else thinks about the laundry or dishes. A day when others will know and talk about how we lived and loved.

So, with all of that in mind, I have decided to work my way backwards. I have been taking time to record these past few weeks and our down time enjoying the lazy days of winter break and snowy moments when we weren't only opening presents.
As the snow covers our rooftops this evening, I am thankful for the softness of the evening, the playfulness of the kids working out their differences on the Wii, and the cup of hot chocolate that is calling my name as we end the night side by side. We are blessed.

Love your new layouts...I am so with you, let's embrace the mounting piles of laundry and dishes and dust bunnies and SCRAP!! You are rocking the Eskimo Kisses!

I am not sure which journaling blocks you meant-the flashcard type ones? I love all of the ones I used and they are from several different Etsy vendors (I can forward them to you if you like!), including Elles!
