It never fails that all great things must find their end.
We enjoyed good times with friends that we haven't seen in a LONG time on Friday evening. I pulled out the hojas and some masa. Everyone took a turn making tamales. It was a pleasure to sit back with some faces we hadn't enjoyed in a while.
Thanks to Sena, Erin, Yoli, Celeste, Josh and Amber, Nichole and Nolan, Elena for being brave enough to join this "make it yourself meal"...but it wasn't the same without a few more faces. We will plan again (on a day with warmer weather) to pull this great team of people back together for another great date!

That was Friday. On Saturday, we enjoyed a pre-Valentine's dinner, sans camera, with our friends and family. There's nothing like a steak Maui and smashed potatoes! On Sunday, we enjoyed a bit of down time and Brandan's first soccer game. This time the indoor venue provided a plate glass glare that prevented me from snapping my little boy in his bright blue uniform. I'll have to daydream of warmer weather and an outdoor soccer site.

A few more scrap pages to report, but I'm attempting to become more friendly with my sewing machine at the same time. Courage is word of the day, as I laid stitch upon stitch right on my photo itself....
