hee hee...I was waitin' awhile to get started on this one!
SO, those of you who know us, know that we are collectors. We collect Asian art for our bedroom, we collect kokopelli for our family room, we collect everything Don Quixote for our living room, sunflowers in the kitchen...and on and on. It was bound to happen. I've been talking about it for awhile now, and I am determined to collect old cameras for the basement (aka scrap room).
I finally found one that I fell in love with: This sweet little piece of history is a 1947 Kodak. A four shutter Anastar lens with an adorable aged leather case. You can definitely see some wear and ancient dust, but there are no cracks and scratches to be found. Isn't she gorgeous? Now can someone look into her and tell me what pictures she has snapped? Oh, would I love to see...

Wow!!!! Very cool! Where'd you get it? It looks damn good for '47! See, now that's a hobby I don't find crazy! Not time consuming!!
cool! but a really expensive hobby.
so i'll have to give you the link but there's an application that you can get on your iphone (only works for i phones) but it processes your photos like film ones, and old film style. i'll pass it along i actually found it while perusing ali's blog.
Awesome!
So cool, where did you find it? Does it still work? You should search for old camera prints on etsy. I bet you could find some cool one that you could frame and hang up to mix with the actual old cameras. That would be neat!
