After having a few days to reflect on my photowalk on Saturday, I have a renewed vision. I know I'm not crazy because I shoot upside down and sideways, even though some of my family says I am! Looking at the cool pictures that everyone snapped during the photowalks, from across the nation on Saturday, on Flickr, I am anxious to get out again!
SO now I must decide which ones are my favorites of the day...
SO now I must decide which ones are my favorites of the day...
My Mom will choose the one above because of the old Union Carbide building, where she once worked. But I just can't decide what I like more...landscapes, architecture, reflections, pieces and parts of unidentifiable objects...OR...
PEOPLE!?! I'm a sucker for faces. So between this post and the last, which three pictures would you choose as GOOD? What calls to you? With your help I'll decide and then hopefully enter to win THIS!

I do find it funny that it was an ihf photowalk, but I got no faces, lol. I'll look through and pick...
art school crit:
the first one is okay .. just a group shot of sorts. nothing strikes out about it.
second shot .. the flags are all cut off and so are the buildings. a picture i totally would have took (probably a few more shots too) but one i wouldn't have posted. the idea of the image is there but it's not executed right.
thrid one.. cool but what is it leading too? i guess i want more to be at the end of the hall way.
fourth one .. i like this one. i want to play with it more though ... maybe blend with another image its kinda like i realize that it's a reflection of the picture taker but because of that i want to see more of what there is to the picture ... doesn't seem complete but possibility is there.
5th one .. cooler if the sky was bright blue .. could photoshop that in ... and a tighter crop .
sixth one .. this is actually my favorite. i think i'm a sucker for faces and stories too. the focus is on her nose and mouth and it sorta draws you into the image and then you wonder what's she drinking and it looks yummy. the blurry thumb is distracting though.
Can Jakki be MY friend?!?!?! I totally want feedback like that! I want someone who will critique my pics and let me know what I need!
I know...Jakki-please give critique like this when you see pics on my blog!!
I agree with Jakki on the flag pic...I am wishing the flags/buildings weren't cut off-that would have been a sure fire fave. I love the fire escape picture and the drinking picture(I love peep pics too!). I really like the hallway one, but like Jakki said, it is not leading your eye to anything, but the framing idea is so there!
I can't decide between the ones from the bottom post. I like a lot of them because they are bits and pieces and let you decide what you think they are...some nice depth of field going on in some of them too;)
If I had to pick, maybe the top one...love the golden warm colors.
I will have to follow this I Heart Faces blog. Totally cool!
