Seems like we did nothing else this weekend but side trip our way through. After our stint to Wilmington and the antique shops, Sunday was fair game to take the Dads to Taylor Street for Italian ice. (So what if the Moms wanted some too, right?)
Ahhh, the refreshing flavors of lemon, strawberry, watermelon, blue raspberry, and pina colada....it's so hard to pick JUST ONE!

We are wrapping up the chores around here and our suitcases are packed. I'm crossing my fingers for a WiFi connection these next couple of weeks. As we head out the door to conquer the "colonial heartland" of Mexico, I hope I am able to sneak in and post some pictures of our journeys. I think this is the first trip we have made WITHOUT planning out all of the details and scheduling our visits across Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Dolores Hidalgo, Leon...etc. Oh, okay...I've planned out a few things.
So, keep us in your thoughts - and we, too, will carry you with us as w traipse along the ancient path of los Aztecas y Conquistadores. See you SOON!

Mmmmm....Mario's...it's been too long! Luckily, Jack got a Margarita machine for father's day and the slurpies have been flowing (of course with a little tequila for mom and dad too!)
