I am making a jump (Thanks for the push, PAM!) into sewing.------------------------------------------
It has been lying dormant in my blood for quite sometime. My Momma ALWAYS sewed. My Grandma ALWAYS sewed. And I'll take a guess here, but I am pretty sure that my great grandma sewed, too. Now, my kids need not fear...I will not be stitching play clothes and uniforms for them (mending them a bit more maybe!), but my desire is more of product creation. I wish to stitch bags with buckles, curtains with trim, and practical items with a bit of frill. I signed on to Frecklednest.com 's new class and I am eager to see what I can learn!! The brave new me will be posting my projects here once the class starts in August.
Yes, I am getting a bit too crafty for my own good, but until I find a way to put my every effort into it I will continue on this trail. Right now...I am dreaming in colored thread...

YIPPEE! Can't wait! But I probably will attempt to make my kiddies where my creations;) At least until they can really argue with me about it;)
