There was this flashback in my mind today, and it made me crave my pint-sized little people. The ones that used to crawl around and leave their toys all along the floor so I could step on them and trip over them and fall down. Don't you know the ones... those little slobbering, gibberish talking ones that need your love and affection every waking moment? They need to sit in your lap and listen to you sing or read stories. They want you to pick them up and hold them even when you don't have a free hand.My little guys are little no longer. ;(
One just finished a sixth grade book report, while the other went walking with her friend to 7Eleven (unbeknown to her under informed Mom) per Dad's okay.
I would have loved to have tripped over a toy today, but instead I'll just pull up old pictures of kids playing in their toyboxes and "makin' messes".
{sigh}
