With autumn colors abound, I just haven't gotten my camera out to catch all of the beautiful colors, so when over at my parents' house on Friday evening, I spied deep purple mums that were to good to pass up.
An update on the house shows gorgeous new windows in place, from top to bottom, just peeking over the unfinished balcony from the second floor.
You can't see it from ground level, but the roof and gutters are in place, too.
Our weekend was very kicked back, no other agenda to be had. Good friends on Saturday evening with yummy food. A lazy Sunday morning with pancakes on the side. An idea of pumpkin carving and roasting seeds to come...

Beautiful flowers, I have only seen yellow and orange mums here. Love the arched window too!
