These awesome little cookies ALMOST didn't happen! Aly woke up with an upset tummy and Brandan was in a MOOD, so I trudged out on my own and made ME a cookie! I followed the recipe for Baked Bree's HOT CHOCOLATE COOKIE.
The batter was really sticky with FOUR packets of hot chocolate mix sifted into the flour...
Momma came over (to bring Aly some pedialyte) and ended up helping us get the dough on the pan.
It was enough to make about 48 cookies in all. This is ONE recipe I will repeat!!-----------------
But the day is not over yet. I still have one more cookie to come. (The dough is chillin' in the fridge, as we speak.) It is what I call a German Chocolate concoction! The recipe says they taste like Hershey's Mounds and I am ALL about coconut! (Used to eat it right out of the bag as a kid!) I'll slice these beauties up soon and get them in to the oven - CAN'T WAIT!

Glad to hear they came out. I'm going to have to print out that recipe and use it for next year. Did the cookies taste good?
i love your cookie rack! where did you get it, can i get one? your hot cocoa cookies looked just like mini, although i more or less toasted my marshmellows on them waiting for the cookies to spread (on the first batch)
