a week's worth of cookies

I hatched the idea to put together a bunch of cookie recipes with the kids. At least one a day for the next week leading up to Christmas eve...(Santa should surely have his pick this year, right?) Mid week I picked up the essential sacks of flour and sugar. Aly wrote up the list for specific ingredients to get at the store. We pulled out the necessary tools...
...and our first batch of LIME CHRISTMAS TEA cookies should be up soon, but for a quick snack I cheated with some raspberry filled croissants...
Christmas cards went out this afternoon. Written by me. Sealed by Chato. Postage added by Brandan. Seasonally stamped by Aly. I love family events.
I will post the recipe to the cookies (IF they turn out!!) tomorrow!

Of course they will turn out! Why wouldn't they?? Welcome to the tradition of many a Polish family....a different type of cookies each day for the month of December! It was started in my family by my great grandmother and continued down to me! I used to love making cookies with my great Gram!!! There will definitely be an entire page in my DD dedicated to those stories!!!
