shhh...don't tell nobody...

...this guy loves pictures just as much as his wife does. And you can bet that, at the very least, he will sit down sometime in January to piece together his favorite golf pictures from the past year on to a big sheet of tag board. I love it! So, for you doubters out there...UNDERSTAND this:

Anyone can take pictures, but putting them together leaves the stories for everyone else who follows. I am so thankful that my husband supports this effort!!
This year he had so many pictures that two boards were necessary:
And if you look to the right of the long board you'll note two notches carved out. These are hung in the garage (if you know our garage...) and this one falls right near the door knobs, hence the strategic half circles.
----------------
I was able to get back into my patterned paper and picture stash yesterday, too. Thanks to a three day weekend and a day out with eight other scrappers, this is what I accomplished:
I know I am a bit all over the place in subjects, but I am in the "find a picture that inspires me" mode. I recently took a whole bunch of 2010 photos that needed printing and sent them off for a good deal/coupon. To sort them all, I placed them in a small sleeved photo album. Now I can just flip through it and land on something I wanna put down. So I find myself telling a wide range of events through out the year. Twenty ten is no where near being put together. But I'll get there! Hopefully, it will be before 2011 turns the corner!!

I like how the doodled one turned out. The chalk markers worked well! Great job! Feels good to accomplish so much, doesn't it? I'll try to upload mine tomorrow. (Light is gone for today!)

How did I miss this post? :(

So glad you found some scrap time and loooove that C "scrapped" too! Awesome!

Here's the thing-don't be caught up:) Scrap whatever pictures inspire you, yes! I think I will never be "done" with a year. The thing about memories is they will come back to us at a moment when we thought that chapter was closed, you know? So just do what you want to do at that moment, I promise you will be happier with the outcome if you do that then if ou "force" yourself to make a page just to get it done:)

But I know you know all that anyways:)
