Snow Day Scraplift Festival

I took advantage of no alarm clock due to a very blessed second snow day yesterday evening. After everyone was fast asleep, I turned on the lights and put glue to paper. Having had the opportunity to spend on my favorite blogs, surfing away...I was able to retrieve quite a bit of inspiration along the road. Wanna compare? Take a look next to the title of each layout. Find the link and surf over to my inspirational piece. I love the ability to scraplift, but am infatuated with how the finished page becomes my own. I'll let you decide how much was lifted versus how much of it took on a life of its own...
-------------------------------------
My "First Sighting" layout was inspired by Anna Marie Mondro's "YOU" over at the GOT SKETCH? site.

This "Room with a View" layout picked up a bit of spirit from the talented Maggie Holmes using the brand new Girls' Paperie "jubilee" line.

The "way back when" layout below was a creative adventure using Mou Saha's design element on font from this month's Creating Keepsakes magazine.

"One fine Saturday" was a direct lift off of Pencillines "Sketches" DT's Sasha's "enjoy today" layout.

I got the idea for "Missouri" from the "Sketch This" website. Kimmie's page helped me design this one.

"Birthday trip" is another fabulous Maggie Holmes layout. This was my first attempt at using a mask. Instead of the butterflies that Maggie used, I chose to use buttons and LOVE how it turned out.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide a link for this one. You'll have to trust me that I used the brilliant Erikia Ghumm's "Follow the Signs" layout of the same name. It was originally published in October 2009!
Finally, I peeked into Cocoa Daisy's DT Gallery for Kim Watson's layout to create "The Big Adventure." Since I scanned it in you can't see the 3D effect where the little circle banner stands up and out, but trust me...it is cute!!

I did this one ("Original Corndog Lunch") a couple of nights ago just because I wanted to pull out the paint. I know I saw something somewhere, but I can't be for sure where so you'll just have to accept my scraplifted heap for what it is and give me some feed back!
I'm not sure I am done. If I can conquer my school to do list (because tomorrow is NOT a snow day!) I might play a bit later on in the evening. We will see if it is meant to be...
