Communion Day

The bright sun awoke us just a bit too early. We weren't in the sunniest of dispositions, but the beautiful weather outside made us happy that today promised to be a gorgeous day. We headed out for a 'do that this Momma was not brave enough to attempt without professional help.....and ended up putting on some BIG TIME curls that would put Shirley Temple to shame! I guess I never imagined just how full a head of hair this little girl had; even after a recent haircut.

My little girl is as pretty as a princess...

...and so was Laura, Aly's madrina (godmother).

Brandan couldn't let Aly be the only one spiffy and nifty. He's been dying to have an occasion to wear this new suit that Momma and Papa bought him at Christmas. Posing side by side, again, most who see them believe them to be twins. I'll account for Aly wearing small heels to diminish the hight factor, but it is difficult to see that they are two years apart...

I'll take it that this was Brandan's way of congratulating his sister; picking her up and sweeping her off her feet.

They will never be able to deny LOVE for one another.
