chop it off, please

Last week I got to that point where I knew it needed to go already. That old hibernation growth, where you refuse to pay attention and ignore the obvious. It's been spring for a few weeks now and daylight savings time has spoken; saying "It's way too long, Candi! You have to do something about that stringy stuff you call hair." In all seriousness, I love the ability to pin it back, twist it up, and get it out of my face. The sloppier the better, as long as I can lean forward to brush my teeth, bend over to tie a shoe, or wrap my arms around an upset student without having to shift gears to move my hair.
Time is of the essence in this urban life I lead, running after buses and trains, hurrying down the block to shove kids inside on a school night, and five less minutes in the shower because there just aren't five minutes to be had. And with that:
a stop off at my favorite salon and four inches off - make me a simpler gal to handle. Heck, I might even find time to sit down at my scrap table soon, huh? Nah....six weeks of school left. Just don't try and take my camera out of my hands!! ;)
