Day FOUR: kid-friendly no-bake cookies

We decided to take a new approach to "icing" our sugar cookies this year. I convinced the kids to try this glaze recipe I found on Baked Bree. I LOVE IT!! Super transparent, just the right amount of sweetness, and acts as the perfect GLUE for sprinkles. So, after cooling on the racks overnight, we mixed it up and got going this morning...SUPER DOUBLE YUM! We produced about 6 dozen cookies with this one batch. No worries, though, we didn't eat them all...we invited friends over to share them with and MAKE MORE cookies!!

Check out these little elves...
We followed the directions for these no-bake concoctions...
which were completely gooey and messy, but so worth the smiles on all these faces! You'd think we could get them all together for a picture, right? Yeah. Right!
Aly and Abi got it together, even if no one else would...
...and so did Nichole and Zoe...
What a nice afternoon and another cookie marked off our list!!
Hmmm....what should we make tomorrow?

So adorable! Did the kids eat all the cookies in one sitting or did you have any left for Santa? Heehee
